Clinical Nurse Educator - Lead Facilitator

Expertise in clinical nursing education and facilitation is sought to join our esteemed team of healthcare professionals. As a Clinical Nurse Educator - Lead Facilitator, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the clinical skills of multidisciplinary teams and driving patient safety initiatives across the North West of Tasmania.

  • Familiarity with Australian Nursing Standards Assessment Tools and curriculum frameworks is essential for success in this role.
  • A passion for undergraduate clinical nursing education is required to drive innovative programs and build clinical competence among nurses.
  • Leadership skills are necessary to lead and manage a team of Clinical Facilitators effectively.
Main Responsibilities:

We focus on building the clinical skills of the entire multidisciplinary team to respond to patient deterioration. We develop evidence-based programs to enhance the clinical competence of nurses across various practice areas.

To succeed in this role, learners must be able to:

  • Work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive records to ensure seamless communication and data management.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, carers, and healthcare providers to deliver high-quality care.

Key Requirements:

Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse.

Postgraduate qualifications in education and/or clinical teaching and learning are desirable.

Relevant postgraduate qualifications in the area of clinical/practice specialty are highly regarded.
