Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Aboriginal Health Rural Generalist Transitional Nurse Practitioner to provide comprehensive care to patients across a range of services.

  • Develop and implement holistic care plans to address the diverse needs of patients, including those with acute and chronic presentations across the lifespan.
  • Establish effective partnerships with multidisciplinary teams to facilitate integrated care and contribute to clinical excellence through research, teaching, and leadership.
  • Work independently and collaboratively in an advanced nursing role, meeting the clinical demands within their defined scope of practice and formulary.
  • Foster culturally safe relationships with priority population groups, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, individuals with disabilities, and culturally and linguistically diverse communities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality patient care that addresses the physical, emotional, and social needs of patients.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures that promote culturally safe care.

Requirements:

  • Advanced nursing qualifications and experience in rural generalist transitional nurse practitioner roles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make informed decisions in complex situations.
