Job Description

A General Assistant Toolstore Person is responsible for delivering high level customer service to enhance the effective and efficient delivery of frontline class support.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting students by contributing to a positive learning experience
  • General administration work
  • Purchasing and organising tools, equipment and materials for students and staff

This position will also carry out manual handling activities in a trade environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Demonstrated experience working within a trade environment or related work areas
  • Demonstrated experience in all aspects of purchasing within a trade environment
  • Demonstrated ability to use hand & power tools, small machinery and tool maintenance in a trade environment
  • Demonstrated ability to work as a team member or with limited supervision
