About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Communications Leader to join our team at LHR. As a key member of our Communications Leadership Team, you will play a critical role in protecting and enhancing our reputation and social licence to operate.

Reporting to the General Manager, Corporate Communication, you will be responsible for developing and executing our external communications strategy, working closely with our Communications Leadership Team to drive business results.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Developing and implementing communications plans to protect and enhance our reputation
  2. Building strong relationships with key stakeholders, including Executives, Business Unit teams, and Media
  3. Collaborating with our Enterprise Communications team to ensure consistency of business messages and alignment with enterprise-wide programs
  4. Supporting key enterprise projects and initiatives through effective communications
  5. Managing the calendar of communications activity and identifying opportunities for innovation

Requirements:

  • 15+ years' experience as a communications professional in a large or dynamic organisation
  • Excellent understanding of a wide variety of communication channels and techniques, including digital communications
  • Experience working for organisations in the retail or logistics industry is preferred
  • Natural curiosity about issues and developments regarding current news issues and the broader community socio-political environment
  • Creative, organised, and efficient with demonstrated project management skills
