This position plays a vital role in ensuring Newmont's external communications run smoothly and effectively.
We are looking for a candidate who is creative, has a high level of attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain Newmont Australia's social media platforms, including content creation, ad management, and monitoring audience engagement.
- Coordinate external events such as conferences and industry forums, ensuring seamless execution.
- Supervise and maintain up-to-date memberships with relevant industry associations.
- Track and manage the External Relations team's budget, ensuring accurate financial reporting.
- Raise purchase orders and process invoices for payment, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Support the External Relations Teams at site in the creation and execution of communications and initiatives.
- Monitor traditional and social media and report on relevant stories, emerging, and ongoing issues, trends, data analytics, audience reach, and engagement.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint – Essential
- Experience with SAP – Essential
- Experience with Canva and/or Adobe InDesign – Essential
Newmont offers a competitive salary range of AU$80,000 - AU$100,000 per annum, depending on experience, location, and qualifications.
