EHS Management Systems Manager Role">

As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest standards for improving and maintaining WHS and Environmental Assurance and Audit Programs. You will have accountability for consulting across all levels to maintain and deliver the WHS and Environmental Assurance and Audit program.

We are seeking an experienced EHS professional to lead improvements to maintain ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 certification across our organization. This includes undertaking internal audits, leading incident investigations, and providing reports to stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in management systems, including structuring, use of SharePoint, Nintex, and incident management systems. They will also possess excellent communication skills, both oral and written, and the ability to collaborate with colleagues and build effective working relationships.

In this role, you will work closely with the IT Team to provide support in the use of Cority, including improvements. Additionally, you will assist in communicating and reviewing progress of the Safety and Environment strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Apply a continuous improvement approach to the delivery of the WHS and Environmental assurance and audit program.
  • Lead improvements to maintain ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 certification.
  • Undertake and lead internal EHS assurance and audit activities.
  • Prepare and provide reports on the outputs of EHS assurance and audit activities.
  • Manage and improve NGA's safety, health and environmental management systems.
  • Work with the IT Team to provide support in the use of Cority.
  • Assist with incorporating new or changed WHS or environmental requirements into management system documents.
  • Assist in communicating and reviewing progress of the Safety and Environment strategies.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated experience in leading an assurance and audit program.
  • Demonstrated experience in management systems.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading incident investigations.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Able to collaborate with colleagues.
  • Able to solve complex problems.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain an AGSVA security clearance at NV1 Level.
  • Qualifications in Work Health & Safety / Occupational Health & Safety or equivalent.
  • Auditing qualifications and experience in ISO and/or ISO 14001.
