Job OverviewPullman Adelaide represents one of Accor Hotels most exciting brands and has a strong history of impressing a broad spectrum of the Adelaide market. The hotel consists of 308 rooms overlooking Hindmarsh Square and has a reputation second to none.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional customer service by responding to requests promptly, efficiently and courteously.
  • Participate in training programs to enhance skills and capabilities.
  • Promote Accor Loyalty programs and recognize Loyalty members as valued guests.
  • Promote and up-sell hotel facilities through strong product knowledge.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and ensure procedures are followed in relation to guest confidentiality and the issuing of room keys.
  • Maintain procedures in relation to credit and cash transactions and accounting documentation.
  • Attend to guest requests efficiently and effectively, constantly striving for Total Guest Satisfaction.
  • Guest services: Valet parking, assistance with luggage, booking activities.

Requirements

  • Previous Guest Service Agent/Porter/Valet experience in a hospitality environment is preferable but not essential.
  • Excellent communication skills and a strong attention to detail are required.
  • An understanding of the region, competitors and suppliers is desirable.
  • A passion for customer service along with a strong desire to achieve goals and targets is necessary.
  • Flexibility with regards to shifts and ability to work rotating rosters including mornings, nights & weekend shifts.
  • Computer literacy is essential, with Opera PMS experience being an advantage.
  • Impeccable grooming and presentation are required.
  • Excellent phone manner and organization skills are necessary.
  • A full, clean and current Australian driver license with the confidence to drive both manual and automatic vehicles is a must.
