English Language Teaching Opportunity
We are seeking experienced teachers of Academic English to join our team for peak period terms.
As an English Language Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching English language programs to international students at the University's Centre for English Teaching (CET).
This is a casual opportunity with no guarantee of work. Available positions are mostly for experienced teachers of Academic English.
Classes are held Mondays – Fridays between 8.00am-12.15pm, 12.20pm-4.35pm or 4.40pm-9.00pm and delivered on-campus.
Requirements- Able to work well in a team
- Leadership and organisational skills
- Experience and skills in blended learning
- Initiative, adaptability and flexibility
- High level of cultural awareness
- Undergraduate degree (or equivalent)
- Recognised TESOL qualification
- Experience in teaching University level English pathway programs
- Experience in teaching high level academic English
- Curriculum development experience
- Experience in teaching across a range of programs
- $123.39 per hour + Super
