Job Overview

The Land Services Officer role is an exciting opportunity to take the next step in your career. You will work closely with various stakeholders, including farmers, community groups, and local government, to develop partnerships, collaborate on projects, conduct fieldwork, and monitor outcomes. This role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to engage with rural landholders and industry groups.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver natural resource management advice and agricultural sustainability and productivity advice
  • Conduct fieldwork and monitor, evaluate, and report on outcomes
  • Develop partnerships and collaborate with stakeholders to achieve project goals
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong understanding of agriculture in the north coast region, including challenges and opportunities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to engage with rural landholders and industry groups
  • Demonstrated experience in delivering effective programs to primary producers and diverse stakeholders
