Job Description

We are seeking an experienced tyre technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking planned and reactive tyre changes on a range of mobile mining equipment, performing routine inspections and assessing wheel components, and maintaining pressures and quality in accordance with site specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Undertake planned and reactive tyre changes on mobile mining equipment
  • Perform routine inspections and assess wheel components
  • Maintain pressures and quality in accordance with site specifications
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, you will require:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in Earthmover tyre fitting on mine sites
  • A Certificate II in Automotive Mechanical Tyre Fitting Heavy (AUR21916/ AUR21920)
  • A valid C Class driving licence (HR/LR advantageous)
  • QLD Standard 11 Mining Induction
  • An ability to work well under pressure and possess a high level of initiative
