Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain injury management files, workers' compensation claims documentation, and rehabilitation plans for work-related injuries and illnesses.

• Maintain confidentiality of injury management files and correspondence in accordance with legislation and guidelines.

• Assist and prepare case notes, return to work plans, and correspondence in accordance with legislation and guidelines.

• Process financial payments for unit functions and complete monthly reconciliation of compensation.

• Maintain records of workers' compensation claims within statutory requirements and timeframes.

• Participate in return to work and case review meetings as requested.

• Support senior advisors in the management of injured workers.

• Liaise with health practitioners, occupational rehabilitation providers, and agents related to council employees.

• Maintain injury management systems, procedures, and other related systems.

• Prepare reports, templates, and internal publications.

• Provide support to the wider team.

Requirements:

• Strong customer service skills with ability to support diverse stakeholders.

• Highly skilled in Microsoft Office suite and experience with document management systems.

• Effective communication skills with various internal and external stakeholders.

• Attention to detail with strong numeracy, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
