This pivotal role will see you leading the testing of finance products, overseeing test planning, execution, automation, regression, and production verification to ensure the highest quality standards are met.

Job Description

Working closely with cross-functional teams, you'll prioritize product requirements and drive quality-focused testing across the business.

  • Develop and execute comprehensive quality strategies for our platform and services, ensuring exceptional product delivery.
  • Mentor and guide team members on best practices in testing, promoting a culture of quality throughout the team.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize testing requirements, guaranteeing thorough testing and flawless user expectations.
  • Design, develop, implement, and maintain cutting-edge test automation suites integrated with our CI/CD pipeline to support seamless, continuous quality-driven approaches.
  • Track and manage defects, collaborating with stakeholders, product managers, developers, and software engineers to ensure efficient and effective resolutions.
  • Lead and participate in user acceptance testing and other critical testing activities.
Key Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of experience in software testing and quality assurance, with software engineering expertise highly valued.
  • A strong background in automated testing tools, frameworks, and processes, including Cypress, Selenium, and Test Rail.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, C#, or Java.
  • Experience working with banking, payments, or NPP projects is essential.
  • Familiarity with Australian regulatory requirements relevant to the fintech industry is beneficial.
  • Solid understanding of the software delivery lifecycle, testing methodologies, and tools, with hands-on experience working in agile environments.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and influence quality practices.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues effectively.
  • Proven experience in coaching and mentoring teams in testing and quality practices.
