Job Title: Senior Educator

CIT is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Educator to join our team in the Construction, Automotive, Plumbing and Building Management department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide leadership and guidance to support the department and educators in relation to educating and learning practices.
  • Assist in the management, mentoring, support and training of educator staff including casual educators.
  • Represent CIT through effective liaison with internal and external stakeholders including partners, industry, and the community.
  • Liaising and development support for the creation of new and emerging training products.
  • Assist in the management of program review and improvement (PRI), validation and moderation of assessment tools.
Requirements:
  • A full Training and Assessment Certificate IV level qualification (such as a TAE40116 or equivalent) and a Diploma of Vocational Education and Training (or equivalent).
  • Relevant industry experience and vocational qualifications equal to that being taught, or as specified in the applicable training package or accredited curriculum specifications.
  • Leadership and management experience.
  • High Level Digital Literacy.
