About the Role

CIT is seeking a highly motivated and experienced educator to fill the role of Educator Level 2 in CIT Trade Skills, within Construction, Automotive, Plumbing and Building Management.

The primary focus of the position is to work closely with the Head of Department to provide leadership, guidance and support to the team to ensure consistently high education and training outcomes.

The successful applicant will foster and bolster new and emerging partnerships and sustain collaborative relationships with community, industry and other key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and guidance to support the department and educators in relation to educating and learning practices.
  • Assist in the management, mentoring, support and training of educator staff including casual educators.
  • Represent CIT through effective liaison with internal and external stakeholders including partners, industry and the community.
  • Liaising and development support for the creation of new and emerging training products.
  • Assist in the management of program review and improvement (PRI), validation and moderation of assessment tools.

Eligibility and Requirements

The successful applicant will need a strong background in Vocational Education and Training (VET) with industry background desirable.

Leadership and management experience, high level digital literacy and relevant industry experience and vocational qualifications equal to that being taught are highly desirable.
