Join a dynamic and innovative team as a Manager, Culture and Operations.

The Queensland public sector is seeking a Manager to join the People and Culture Unit. The People and Culture Unit provides strategic and operational advice and support to staff across the full range of people management functions, including staffing and establishment management, recruitment and selection, payroll and leave management, industrial relations, grievance and discipline, workforce planning and job design, capability development, workplace health and safety, and workplace rehabilitation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and lead the team in delivering core operational services.
  • Provide expert, specialist advice on complex issues, and provide guidance to all levels of QCAA management and employees.
  • Lead the development and implementation of diversity, inclusion and cultural capability initiatives.
  • Prepare high-quality written documentation for senior stakeholders on complex workforce management issues.
  • Manage significant and complex organisation-wide projects to build organisational capability.
  • Present briefings, workshops and training sessions to managers and employees.
  • Review policy frameworks and workforce management processes to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.
Reporting Relationships

This role reports to the Director, Corporate Services.
