As a Frontline Home Care Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to vulnerable clients. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing administrative support for our Home Care programs
  • Assisting with staff and client rostering
  • Monitoring the Home Care portal for new referrals and onboarding new clients as requested
  • Undertaking initial assessments and care planning for clients
  • Preparing, managing, and archiving client files
  • Identifying and providing information to clients who require additional support
  • Providing support and advocacy for clients and their carers as needed
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of Home Care practices and activities

You will have excellent communication, conflict resolution, and time management skills. You will be flexible, resilient, and able to adapt to continuous change. You will employ a thorough and detailed approach to managing information and possess self-motivation, reliability, flexibility, caring, and patient attitude.

Our ideal candidate will possess:

  • Certificate III or above in Community Service and/or Office Administration (or equivalent experience)
  • Current Queensland Driver's licence and willingness to drive throughout greater Brisbane, Redlands, Logan, Ipswich & Gold Coast

Key skills include:

  • High-level experience in Microsoft suite of programs, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Experience using client management software such as iCare and staff rostering
  • Knowledge of Aged Care Quality Standards and compliance
  • Working understanding of Occupational Health and Safety requirements
  • Ability to work with others and be a participative and supportive team member
  • Well-developed written and verbal skills
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
