Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Linux Systems Engineer to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional to work with us and contribute their skills and expertise.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Linux systems administration, including performance tuning, kernel configuration, and server hardware management. They will also possess strong working knowledge of configuration management tools such as RedHat Satellite, Puppet, and Ansible.

In addition, the successful candidate will have experience working with various Linux technology solutions deployed in large environments, including Centrify, NTP, and others. Strong day-to-day performance monitoring and incident management skills for Linux servers are also essential.

This role involves working in a dynamic environment encompassing virtualization, networking devices, storage, and Microsoft Azure platforms. The ability to design and implement Infrastructure-as-Code using tools like Puppet and Ansible is highly desirable.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Languages and Tools: Expert level experience with Linux systems administration, including performance tuning, kernel configuration, and server hardware management. Strong working knowledge of configuration management tools such as RedHat Satellite, Puppet, and Ansible.
  • Linux Technology Solutions: Experience working with various Linux technology solutions deployed in large environments, including Centrify, NTP, and others.
  • Performance Monitoring and Incident Management: Strong day-to-day performance monitoring and incident management skills for Linux servers.
  • Infrastructure-as-Code: Ability to design and implement Infrastructure-as-Code using tools like Puppet and Ansible.
