Senior Development Strategist

We are seeking a visionary development professional to drive our strategic planning and implementation of fundraising, communications, and public relations activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct the development and execution of comprehensive fund development strategies.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership on building relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Serve as primary contact for cultivating major donors and corporate partners.
  • Develop and execute capital campaigns in coordination with executive and Board leadership.
  • Represent the organization at speaking engagements and other venues as appropriate.
  • Recruit, hire, and supervise department staff.
  • Maintain donor management and communication systems to inform data-driven strategies.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree; Master's preferred in related field.
  • At least 7 years of experience in non-profit development and public relations, including supervisory/management experience.
  • Fund-raising experience in annual campaigns, major gifts, planned giving, corporate sponsorships, and foundation grants.
  • Confident spokesperson with excellent written and oral communications skills.
