Defence Finance Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced finance professional to support our Defence projects.
Job DescriptionThis is a key role that involves preparing and analysing financial reports for Defence projects, liaising with stakeholders on financial matters, and supporting invoice processing and asset reconciliations. The successful candidate will have strong analytical skills, commercial acumen, and proficiency in financial management systems.
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years' experience in project finance or Defence financial roles, relevant qualifications (AQF 6 or higher), and a current Negative Vetting 1 security clearance.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and analyse financial reports for Defence projects
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on financial and commercial matters
- Support invoice processing, asset reconciliations, and impairment reviews
- Contribute to Defence-specific reporting (e.g. MPR, PPRIP, SPMS)
The role also involves providing advice on compliance with financial legislation and Defence frameworks, working collaboratively with other teams to achieve business objectives.
