About the Role

Mater Misericordiae Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to fill the position of After Hours Manager. This role requires a high level of attention to detail and the ability to lead and manage a team effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide safe, efficient, and effective leadership and management of the facility after business hours.
  • Be responsible for patient outcomes and provide leadership and oversight to clinical areas outside business hours.
Requirements
  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) relevant to the necessary scope of practice.
  • Minimum five (5) years of clinical experience across critical care environments.
  • Current Advanced Life Support (ALS) and PLS certification or willingness to obtain.
  • Knowledge and experience of the facility requirements and standards.
  • Prior comparable experience in a leadership/supervisory role in a healthcare environment.
  • Postgraduate qualifications in nursing Critical Care- ICU, CCU or ED.
  • Demonstrated analytical and report-writing skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership, human resource, and business skills.
