Healthcare Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated Healthcare Assistant to provide clinical support and contribute to patient care in our healthcare setting.

  • Conduct clinical screening assessments as delegated and within scope of practice
  • Assist allied health practitioners with a range of clinical tasks and activities
  • Perform general administrative duties that support clinical operations
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in accordance with organisational and legal requirements
About the Role

The successful applicant will possess:

  • A Certificate IV in Health Service Assistance (Allied Health Assistant) or equivalent qualification, which would be highly regarded
  • Working with Children check clearance
  • Up-to-date vaccination status against Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis B
  • Completed Tuberculosis screening, where applicable
  • A valid Driver Licence
  • A clear Declaration of serious discipline history
  • Compliance with Criminal History Screening for new employees

Our Hospital to Community (H2C) program supports patients with complex needs, who may require NDIS services and/or have barriers to discharge or remaining in the community.
