Job Title: Senior Cognitive Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cognitive Specialist to join our multidisciplinary team. This role involves delivering specialist care to patients with complex cognitive and behavioral challenges.

The ideal candidate will work closely with healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive management plans for patients with complex comorbidities, including drug and alcohol, neurological disorders, psychiatric and/or other medical conditions.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Conduct neuropsychological assessments and prepare detailed reports.
  • Develop evidence-based treatment recommendations and formulate comprehensive management plans.
  • Manage cases and provide clinical feedback to multidisciplinary teams.

Requirements:

  • A Master or Doctor of Clinical Neuropsychology or Clinical Psychology is required. AHPRA registration with endorsement or working towards endorsement to practice as a Clinical Neuropsychologist or Clinical Psychologist is essential.
  • Experience in performing neuropsychological assessments, treatment planning, report writing (including NDIS) and providing clinical feedback is highly valued.
  • Collaboration and communication skills are crucial for effective case management of clients with complex issues.
