Activity Development Manager

The Activity Development Manager collaborates with the leadership team to design, implement and evaluate activities across the home.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop leisure and activity programs for residents that cater to their diverse needs and interests.
  • Collaborate with the care team to promote close relationships with families and carers, assessing the needs, preferences and capabilities of each resident.
  • Plan and facilitate group and 1:1 activities aligned to resident interests and needs, ensuring a high level of engagement and satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Certificate IV in Leisure and Lifestyle or equivalent qualification.
  • Current First Aid Certificate.
  • Experience in planning, implementing and evaluating activities for frail people with cognitive impairment and other disabilities.
  • Ability to document assessments, care plans and progress notes to meet legislative and quality improvement requirements.
