Busy Bees at Everton Hills is a childcare service located in the beautiful Moreton Bay Region, north-west of Brisbane. We are seeking an experienced Chef to join our team.
This is an amazing opportunity for a passionate individual to showcase their culinary skills and passion while working with young children. As a Casual Chef, you will be responsible for creating balanced, nutritious meals suitable for young children, considering their developmental needs.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent culinary qualifications or experience
- A current and valid Working With Children Check or ability to obtain one
You will also possess:
- The ability to create rotating menus that adhere to dietary guidelines and cater to the diverse needs of children
- The capability to prepare meals for children with allergies, intolerances, or specific dietary needs (e.g., gluten-free, dairy-free, halal)
- Strict adherence to food safety and hygiene protocols
