Registered Nurse in Mental Health Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse in Mental Health to join our team at a hospital in Northern Tasmania.

The North West Regional Y-HITH Program provides a unique chance to make a difference in the lives of vulnerable individuals and their families.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Deliver evidence-based mental health interventions to clients in their homes.
  2. Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  3. Provide education and support to clients and their families on mental health management and coping strategies.
  4. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate care and services.
  5. Participate in regular clinical meetings and case conferences to ensure optimal client outcomes.
Requirements:
  1. Degree-qualified Registered Nurse in Mental Health with current AHPRA registration.
  2. Experience working with vulnerable populations, preferably with young people.
  3. Working with Vulnerable People Registration and Current Driver's Licence.
  4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
