About the role
12 Month Fixed Term Opportunity
The Electrification Appointment Setter is part of AGL's Electrification & Innovation (E&I) team, helping Australians transition to a cleaner energy future. E&I develops sustainable, scalable products and explores new ideas that can transform how people live for generations to come.
In this role, you'll boost sales efficiency by contacting warm leads, identifying those most likely to convert, and scheduling high-quality appointments for the sales team. Your focus is on ensuring a smooth handover and maximising conversion opportunities, directly contributing to AGL's growth across the residential and SME customer base.
What you'll be doing:
Engage and Qualify Leads – Respond promptly to customer inquiries, assess fit against predefined criteria, and nurture interest through professional follow-up.
Drive Sales Conversion – Schedule high-quality appointments that align with sales team availability, ensuring leads are well-prepared for handover.
Collaborate for Success – Work closely with the sales team to refine handover processes, share feedback, and maximise conversion outcomes.
Maintain Accuracy – Keep detailed and accurate records of interactions, appointments, and outcomes in the CRM.
Optimise Processes – Continuously improve outreach scripts and workflows using performance data and feedback to enhance efficiency.
About you:
Excellent communication skills for engaging with customers over the phone.
Knowledge of solar energy systems, storage solutions, EV and/or EV chargers – preferred but not essential.
Strong problem-solving skills and experience in resolving customer issues over the phone.
Demonstrated experience achieving team and individual performance metrics for call centre operations.
