Customer Support Engineer – Perth, Australia

We are seeking an experienced Customer Service Engineer based in Perth. This is a great opportunity to join a market-leading company in a key customer-facing role that is expanding.

Job Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

Based in Western Australia, you will be part of a team of 17 Engineers responsible for maintaining XRF, XRD, and SPE instruments across Australasia, including:

1. Installation, commissioning, and calibration
2. Preventative maintenance on instruments
3. Responding to breakdown calls as needed

This role involves extensive travel—at least 80% of your time within Perth, remote mine sites, and interstate, with occasional overseas travel. On-call and weekend work may also be required.

Job Requirements:

- 5+ years of field service experience
- Advanced Diploma or higher in Electronics, with strong electro-mechanical skills
- West Australian Serviceman’s Radiation Safety License (preferred)
- IT literacy
- Ability to travel on short notice
- Passion for customer service
- Experience with X-ray fluorescence, X-ray diffraction, or neutron analysis (advantageous)
