About the Position
Our client is looking for an experienced Corporate/Commercial Lawyer to join their growing Gold Coast team. You’ll work on a diverse mix of commercial and corporate matters, with exposure to large-scale transactions, business structuring, and complex advisory work. In this role, you will have the chance to work closely with senior leadership and be supported through a structured development framework, including mentoring, regular feedback, and a clear roadmap toward progression — including future leadership opportunities.
Matters you’ll manage
- Mergers, acquisitions and joint ventures
- Shareholder and partnership agreements
- Commercial contracts and structuring advice
- Business sale and purchase negotiations
- Corporate governance and compliance
You’ll also play an active role in mentoring junior team members and shaping the future of the Gold Coast office.
Key Requirements
- 4–6+ years post-admission experience in corporate and commercial law
- Proven ability to manage complex transactions and provide commercial advice
- Strong relationship-building skills and a collaborative working style
- Ambition to grow into senior leadership or partnership in the medium term
