genU is seeking a confident, proactive, and people-focused Team Leader – Operations Support to play a vital role in delivering high-quality administrative support across our Disability & Ageing Division.

As a leader in our Client Services Team you’ll drive clarity, structure, and high performance across teams based in Tasmania and Victoria. Your focus will be on delivering consistent, efficient operational services that directly enable our frontline teams to achieve outstanding results for clients.

What you’ll do

As a Team Leader – Operations Support in our Client Services Team, you’ll:

- Lead and support a dynamic operations team across VIC and TAS, promoting a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing team culture.

- Oversee day-to-day administrative operations, ensuring timely and consistent delivery of services such as reception, data entry, document management, fleet coordination, and financial transactions.

- Drive continuous improvement, supporting the implementation of streamlined, standardised processes that enhance service delivery and reduce inefficiencies across multiple sites.

- Monitor team performance, allocate resources effectively, and ensure alignment with genU policies, service standards, and strategic objectives.

- Partner with stakeholders across the Disability & Ageing Division and wider genU network to enable smooth, values-driven operational support.

What you’ll bring

- A qualification in Business Admin, Management, or a related field, or relevant leadership experience

- Proven ability to manage distributed teams and deliver high-quality operational outcomes

- Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

- Confidence using Microsoft Office (especially Teams, Excel, Outlook) and working with digital systems

- Experience working with people with disability or within the community services sector.

- Familiarity with CareLink, Lumary, or other CRM systems.

- An understanding of the NDIS and broader disability service landscape.

You’ll also need a Working With Children Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check and Orientation Module Certificate – but don’t worry, we’ll help guide you through this.
