The Role

As a Senior Freight Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day freight handling and warehouse operations, ensuring compliance with safety and service standards, and supporting junior team members.

Key Responsibilities:

- Coordinate the loading & unloading of large volumes of cargo
- Oversee forklift operations and ensure adherence to safety protocols
- Monitor and maintain compliance with OH&S requirements
- Provide guidance and support to warehouse staff
- Assist with scheduling and workflow management to meet operational deadlines
- Liaise with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure efficient freight movement

Skills and Experience

- Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in freight coordination, warehouse, or logistics operations
- Strong understanding of air freight processes and warehouse safety standards
- Proven ability to take initiative and lead by example
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- High level of reliability and accountability
- Physical fitness for manual lifting as required
- Confidence in handling and stacking heavy loads
- Strong communication and teamwork skills

Licenses and Requirements

- Current LF Forklift License (essential)
- Current Australian Driver’s License & own transport
- Current ASIC card (preferred, or ability to obtain)
