Security Officers - Westfield Southland

We are currently seeking reliable and licensed security officers to join our team on a casual basis. As a Security Officer at Southland, you'll play a key role in creating a safe, welcoming environment while delivering exceptional customer service. You'll be the first point of contact in many situations – whether assisting a customer with directions, responding calmly to an incident, or supporting centre operations during busy periods.

What you'll be doing:

- Deliver high‑quality front‑line customer service

- Respond to incidents, including medical and emergency situations

- Monitor safety risks and report incidents

- Assist with crowd management and de‑escalation

- Support retail centre operations and emergency response procedures

What you'll need:

- Current Victorian Security Licence with Crowd Control function

- Current First Aid and CPR certificates

- Excellent communication and customer service skills

- Ability to work across a 24/7 rotating roster

- High standard of personal presentation and customer‑focused attitude
