The Role
Reporting to the Regional Manager, this position is responsible for delivering the store's financial targets and company key performance indicators, focusing heavily on creating a warm and genuine customer service experience. This role will also build a team that is empowered to exceed within the Myer and David Jones Concession at Southland.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive sales, profit and ensure achievement of all KPIs as set by the company.
- Provide inspirational leadership, training and develop team capability.
- Lead with a focus on strong people management.
- Maintain a focus on commercial acumen, ensuring the team has an understanding of store performance.
- Manage effective control of costs.
- Drive a customer‑centric culture creating a warm and genuine customer service experience.
- Adhere to all company behaviours, policies and procedures.
The Ideal Candidate will have
- Proven experience managing high sales turnover, multi‑site retail fashion stores.
- A passion for the retail industry, exceptional service and a strong sense of personal style and presentation.
- Ability to manage budgets, interpret financial reports and generate efficient rosters.
- Demonstrated experience managing for profit with a commercial approach.
- Experience managing performance, training and development of a large team.
- Skills associated with driving productivity with team members.
- Ability to build strong relationships with relevant stakeholders, including senior leadership.
