About the Role

We're looking for a Communications and Stakeholder Engagement (C&SE) Consultant to join our VIC team. Reporting into both the VIC leadership team and our National Communications and Stakeholder Engagement Lead, you’ll play a key role in delivering C&SE projects, supporting bids, and collaborating with project teams across a wide range of sectors. You’ll have the opportunity to contribute to projects spanning Property & Infrastructure, from major, city-shaping initiatives impacting millions to highly localised, community-focused engagements that require empathy and precision.

- Deliver communication and engagement outcomes in complex, high-profile environments—often involving political, social, environmental or community sensitivities where reputation management is key

- Build strong, trusted relationships with stakeholders and communities

- Develop and implement communication and engagement strategies and plans

- Prepare clear, accessible materials such as community updates, newsletters, fact sheets, letters, presentations and other collateral

- Support stakeholder engagement activities such as stakeholder mapping, event coordination, surveys, briefings and door-knocking

- Contribute to bid development and pursuits across the TSA Riley business

About You

You’ll bring a mix of creativity, adaptability and stakeholder savvy, along with:

- 5-8 years’ experience in a communications discipline—experience in consulting or infrastructure project delivery is highly regarded

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strength in making complex information accessible for diverse audiences

- A collaborative approach, with confidence engaging people at all levels across business, government and community

- A proactive mindset—you’re willing to pitch in, manage competing priorities and keep things moving under pressure

- An understanding of confidentiality, sensitivity, and working in environments where public perception matters

- Strong time management and the ability to adapt to evolving project needs and deadlines
