The AWS Professional Services (ProServe) Partner Organization is seeking a dynamic ProServe Partner Leader (PPL) to join our team at Amazon Web Services (AWS). In this role, you will be responsible for developing and driving ProServe opportunities through and with partners. As the ProServe Partner Leader you’ll focus on business development and pipeline progression with AWS partners by building trust, identifying applicable joint professional services offerings, and successfully executing joint go-to-market plans. You’ll work closely with ProServe Account Executives, ProServe Cloud Architects, Delivery Practice Managers to drive customer success and business growth. You will apply your experience in driving successful sales to the Australian & New Zealand governments for technology solutions and professional services. You should demonstrate proficiency in business development, executing sales methodologies and advancing opportunity pipeline, coupled with strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills. PPL performance will be measured against key metrics including Partner Delivered Revenue, Partner Billable Bookings and overall ProServe pipeline growth with partners.
The AWS ProServe Partner Organization is a global team of experts helping customers realize their desired business outcomes through and with partners when using the AWS Cloud.
Key job responsibilities
- Lead and develop ProServe opportunities through strategic partnership collaborations
- Spearhead business development initiatives and manage pipeline progression with AWS partners
- Design and execute joint go-to-market strategies with partners
- Build and maintain trust-based relationships with key internal stakeholders
- Identify and develop joint professional services offerings with partners
- Collaborate cross-functionally with ProServe Account Executives, Cloud Architects, and Delivery Practice Managers

About the team
The AWS ProServe Partner Organization is a global team of experts dedicated to helping customers achieve their business objectives through strategic partner collaborations and AWS Cloud solutions. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional customer outcomes through innovative partnership approaches.
Basic Qualifications
- 7+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience
- 7+ years of professional or military experience
- Bachelor’s degree
- Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience as a founder or executive focused on related segments, or as a practice leader or business unit owner
- Experience selling to Fortune 1000 or Global 2000 organizations
