e20 in a joint venture with RSGx, have formed e2x to deliver the Supply (limited), Installation, Test & Commissioning of HVAC Systems to the Sydney Metro, Western Sydney Airport project. This is a landmark transport initiative that will link St Mary’s to Bradfield.
e2x will Supply (limited) & Installation of Electrical and Communications Systems to four major stations.
Operating within a Joint Venture framework for e2x as our Site Engineer – Mechanical will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing the construction of the project, ensuring quality control and management of work flow, on-site activities, materials and equipment on site.
This role requires hands‑on project delivery experience, working with subcontractors, ensuring compliance with client standards, and supporting the project team to achieve milestones safely, on time, and within budget.
This role is based on site on the Western Sydney Metro project – Airport Terminal station (ATL).

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate mechanical works across construction and commissioning phases
- Ensure compliance with design specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards
- Support testing, inspections, and commissioning
- Supervise subcontractor performance and provide technical guidance on‑site
- Maintain accurate documentation, reporting, and support project handover into operations
Qualifications
- Relevant tertiary qualifications (e.g. Mechanical Engineer).
- Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) – preferred.
- Membership of relevant Engineering Institutions (e.g. Engineers Australia) – preferred
- 3+ years’ project delivery experience in construction (Tier 1/Tier 2 contractor environment preferred).
- Strong knowledge of Australian Standards, NCC, and relevant codes.
- Experience managing subcontractors, technical submittals, and QA/commissioning processes.
