Overview

An Epic Icon needs an Epic team Ayers Rock Resort is searching for a FIFO Plumber/Gas Fitter to live and work onsite at Yulara, NT, which is 20 minutes from Uluru, one of Australia’s iconic and culturally significant landmarks. We are seeking an Australian Qualified Plumber / Gas Fitter who has strong fault-finding experience in both commercial and industrial work environments. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse machinery as our Technical Services team are the trades people of Yulara. You will have the opportunity to become a true specialist in the field as the closest contracting partner is 5 hours away.

We are extremely committed to the safety of our employees, guests and community who visit town, and this needs to be a strong focus for you as well. An Australian Open Driver's License is required for all trades roles.

Key Duties

- Carry out all installation, maintenance and repair work requested by the Technical Services Assistant Manager and Maintenance Planner.

- Participate in the Technical Services after hours emergency call out roster.

- Assist teammates during high workload periods, annual leave and other key maintenance periods.

You’ll receive a generous hourly rate, free accommodation at our contractor's camp with utilities included, as well as breakfast, lunch and dinner provided for in our contractors' kitchen 24/7. You’ll have access to the onsite gym and receive a contractor's card to visit our Outback Hotel on your days off.

This is a permanent opportunity as a FIFO Tradesperson, working 10-hour shifts.
