The Role

The Food Services Attendant works as part of the team and contributes to creating a home for our residents. The role is hands on and provides individual nutrition and hydration to our residents as per the Care Plan. The successful candidate comes with a strong attention to food delivery service and ensures the cleanliness of kitchenettes are maintained. Basic food service skills will be highly regarded.

Skills

- The ability to work with frail and/or confused residents and their families

- The ability to accept directions and work with minimal supervision

- The ability to liaise with other staff and act as part of a team dedicated
providing quality care to our residents

- Demonstrated computer skills

- The ability to effectively use software and systems required for the position

- The ability to work with the 10 Principles of the Eden Alternative philosophy

- A demonstrated commitment to personal development

- A flexible, caring and patient attitude

- A positive and innovative approach to the provision of Aged Care

- Attention to detail with all tasks

- The ability to work effectively in a culturally sensitive manner within
Ethno-specific environment

Qualifications

- Certificate in Food Handling Level 1

- NDIS Yellow Card + WWCC (Blue Card)
