Job Description - Farm Assistant - Part Time (0.4FTE) - Ongoing - Ariah Park Central School (0000B3BP)

Location: Regional NSW

Number of Positions: 1

Salary Range: $1,113.60 - $1,280.20 per week (pro‑rata)

Closing Date: 10-Nov-2025, 5:00:00 AM

Responsibilities

- Prepare and maintain a departmental agricultural plot at a secondary or central school that offers agriculture on its curriculum.

- Assist with crop production and disposal.

- Operate machinery and maintain machinery, tools and equipment.

- Care and supervise livestock.

- Receive and store supplies.

- Perform general farm maintenance.

Qualifications & Skills

- Strong planning and prioritising skills.

- Good communication skills to work effectively with others.

- Experience or interest in agriculture, crop production, livestock care or farm machinery operation is desirable.
