Overview

Reference number 53-2025 • Job type Permanent full-time • Package salary commencing at $50.25 per hour.

We are seeking a coordinator to oversee our high-performing engineering team and make a lasting impact on the infrastructure of a vibrant rural community.

This pivotal leadership role oversees survey and design functions, development engineering referrals, fleet management, and the successful implementation of council’s annual roads, bridges and drainage capital works program.

To be successful in this role you will need

Qualifications

- Bachelor of civil engineering qualification and experience eligible for certification under the Victorian Professional Engineers Registration Act 2019
- Employee working with children check
- Victorian driver licence

Key selection criteria 1

Engineering and local government knowledge of road, footpath, drainage, bridge design and construction standards and practices.

Key selection criteria 2

Leadership and communication skills with contractor representatives, government departments, consultants and all levels of in-house staff as required

Key selection criteria 3

Project management and design skills to deliver infrastructure projects on time and within budget.
