About the role

Kanda is currently seeking three motivated Finance Officers to support key financial processes. Working closely with the Finance Coordinator, you/'ll play an integral role in delivering accurate and timely finance operations that support our national services from our Bundaberg office. This is a full-time position.

Key Responsibilities

- Entering accurate and timely data for Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.

- Processing of weekly payment runs, bank account, and credit card transfers, payments, coding, and reconciliations.

- Managing debtor collections and associated reporting.

- Processing and monitoring customer budget funding requests.

- Providing administrative support for all bank account and credit card requirements.

- Assisting in meeting internal and external reporting deadlines.

- Fixed asset capitalisation and depreciation processing.

About You

- Entry-level position, perfect for a school-leaver looking for a job in a growing organisation.

- General Bookkeeping skills are desirable but not essential.

- Professional Email & Report Writing - Can format and write clear finance-related correspondence.

- Demonstrated time-management and organisational skills.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office - Word, Excel and Outlook.

- A current unencumbered Class C Drivers Licence is essential.

- Hold or willing to obtain an approved WWC.

- Proactive, accurate, and detail-orientated with strong analytical and decision-making skills.

- Able to meet deadlines for reports, reconciliations, or audits.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an exceptional eye for detail.

- A team player with professional and positive personal presence.
