We are seeking an inspiring and relational leader to guide our Junior School Community - a Head who leads with love, purpose and a deep belief in the power of Positive Education. The Head of Junior School position is based at our North School of Trinity College. The position of Head of Junior School will be appointed as a five year contract, with an underlying substantive of a full-time permanent teacher paid at a Position of Responsibility (POR) Level 4 standard and with a 15 lesson allocation for the role. The POR Level 4 allowance ($27,135) is paid in addition to your teaching step rate (eg. Teaching Step 10 $125,789 + POR allowance The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of best practices of teaching, learning and wellbeing approaches. To be successful in this role you will have the following skills and attributes:
- Suitable tertiary qualifications.
- Registered to teach in South Australia or be eligible to obtain registration.

- Be able to set high standards for student learning and teacher performance.
- Be able to lead other staff in the use of appropriate information and communication tools in classroom pedagogy.
- Have the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people both verbally and in writing.
- Have the knowledge of and a commitment to the principles of equal opportunity and work safety.
