Freshwater Christian College is seeking a passionate and experienced Secondary English Teacher to join our community. If you’re dedicated to fostering a love of literature and language in students and have experience teaching Years 11 and 12 English, we encourage you to apply.

Commencing in January 2026, this position is permanent, full-time, and a relocation allowance is available.

Salary range: $81,436 to $115,880 gross per annum, and is dependent on the successful candidate’s classroom experience.

Qualifications

- appropriate tertiary qualifications in teaching.
- Queensland College of Teachers Registration (or the ability to obtain).
- alignment with the values, virtues and Christian beliefs of Freshwater Christian College.
- the ability to affirm the College’s Statement of Faith.
- the ability to comply with College policies, procedures, codes of conduct, and training requirements, including those related to work health and safety, risk management, child protection, and confidentiality.
- the ability to work with all members of the College community.
- the right to work in Australia, without needing sponsorship.
