Responsibilities
Your role will see you focus on the needs of employers in the local labour market including:
- Build strong, ongoing relationships with local employers to understand skill shortages, recruitment needs, and workforce priorities
- Co-design pre-employment pathways with employers that prepare participants for specific roles, industries, and emerging opportunities.
- Work with RTOs, community organisations and industry groups to co-deliver responsive training and employment solutions
- Motivate participants to actively engage in education, accredited training, and work preparation activities.
Who are you?
Skills and experience we are looking for include:
- Experience within Employment Services (highly advantageous)
- Demonstrated results in supporting and coaching a high performing team
- Well-developed interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Account management experience
- Time management and IT systems capabilities
A valid Police Check and Working with Children Check are mandatory requirements prior to commencement of employment. Successful candidates must set up a myGovID in order to access Government data aligned to role.
