Job tasks and responsibilities

Provide clinical leadership and oversight to Care Partners and Clinical Stream Team Leaders, supporting the Clinical Manager in upholding a robust clinical governance framework that aligns with best practice standards and regulatory requirements.

- Assists in embedding a positive employee culture which respects individuals, supports change and encourages continuous learning and development to ensure a high standard of care and support is provided to consumers
- Assists with overall management of the Clinical Governance framework
- Assists with and oversees and supports the development and review of service delivery forms, templates etc.
- Ensures and participates in the investigation, resolution/mitigation of service delivery related events (complaints, hazards, incidents, near misses).
- Ensures compliance with consumer file & clinical documentation management processes.

- Registered Nurse Qualification
- Experience working in an aged, health or community setting.
- Current motor vehicle driver's licence
- National Police Certificate obtained within the last three (3) months
- Working with Vulnerable People card.

Highly desirable

- Experience in Change Management in a complex environment
- An understanding of risk management principles, workplace health and safety and continuous quality improvement processes and their application in the workplace
- High level of relationship, team building and communication skills.
- A high level of understanding for Clinical Assessment, Care Coordination and Service delivery functions.
