As an apprentice, you will be provided ongoing support throughout your journey and be empowered to thrive. Working a Monday to Friday roster, this role will see the successful Apprentices build their career from the ground up, completing tasks that set them up for success within the industry while completing a Certificate III in Carpentry.

What you will be doing

- Assist experienced carpenters in the construction and installation of various woodwork elements, such as framing, lock-up, fixing, cladding, metal framing.

- Learn how to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints

- Gain practical experience in the safe use of power tools and hand tools

- Participate in regular training and development to enhance your carpentry knowledge and skills

- Maintain a clean and organised work environment, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations

- Complete other tasks as directed

What we are looking for

- Current driver’s license and reliable vehicle with the ability to travel between sites as required (Altona, Bellfield, Alphington and Epping)

- Hold a White Card

- Someone that is confident, productive, proactive and eager to learn

- Experience with industry (desirable)
