About the role

Origin’s eMobility team is growing, and we’re looking for a Business Relationship Lead to drive EV charging solutions across the construction sector. This is your chance to join an ambitious, fast-paced team focused on building networks, delivering solutions, and accelerating the deployment of EV charging infrastructure in high rise commercial and residential buildings.

As our Business Relationship Lead, you will drive EV charging sales across developers, builders, strata managers, and building management firms. You’ll build strong relationships, identify opportunities, and deliver tailored solutions that help customers meet their sustainability goals. With a focus on both new developments and retrofits, you’ll play a critical role in the growth of our eMobility team and contribute to the transformation of Australia’s energy landscape. Your responsibilities will include:

Responsibilities

- Develop and manage a sales pipeline to drive uptake of EV charging solutions.

- Build relationships and networks across the construction sector.

- Lead the end-to-end sales process from opportunity origination to agreement execution.

- Work closely with internal teams, including CES, New Property Channel, Origin Zero and other Origin stakeholders.

- Influence product strategy by providing market insights and customer feedback.

- Deliver compelling presentations and educate customers on Origin’s e-mobility solutions.

- Identify the best EV charging solutions for both Greenfield and Retrofit projects.

- Proven experience in business development or strategic account management in a construction environment.

- Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.

- Ability to negotiate commercial outcomes via strategic and out-of-the-box thinking.

- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including presentation experience.

- Ability to work autonomously and focus on outcomes.

- Organisational agility to manage key decision-makers and drive results.
