Role Overview
We're on the hunt for a Content Manager who is equal parts creative strategist and hands-on doer, someone with an eye for beauty, a talent for storytelling, and the skills to create content that cuts through. You'll be responsible for managing our content ecosystem across social media, paid ads, campaigns, and creator initiatives.
This is not a pure marketing or social admin role. It's creative, visual, fast-paced and ideal for someone with an editorial mindset, production skills, and a deep love for all things beauty.
Key Responsibilities
- Social & Content Execution: Work with the team on the day-to-day content planning across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts and more.
- Film, edit, and publish daily organic content and story formats.
- Collaborate with the Social Media Manager on trend-based reactive content.
- Ideate and execute content for brand storytelling.
- Video Production & Editing: Shoot and edit short-form videos for paid ads, influencer content, GRWMs, tutorials, and founder content.
- Create compelling edits optimised for different platforms (Meta, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, etc.).
- Manage post-production workflows, file storage, and creative approvals.
- Creative Direction & Photography: Direct product shoots (UGC-style and polished), flat-lays, lifestyle and behind-the-scenes content.
- Ensure everything aligns with brand identity and visual storytelling goals.
- Capture and edit high-quality stills and reels using your own camera or iPhone (you know the lighting, angles, and presets like a pro).
- Asset Management & Systems: Maintain and update our content & creative asset library (Google Drive, etc.).
- Organise content by campaign, product, platform, and usage rights.
- Create re-usable templates, content banks and swipe files.
- Design & Visual Storytelling: Create graphics (stories, memes, infographics, product launch visuals) using Canva.
- Bring fresh ideas for how we can elevate visual storytelling, from motion graphics to pop culture tie-ins.
- Support founder-led brand moments, podcast snippets, and product launches with visual assets.
- Campaign Support & Ideation: Bring creative input into product launches, promos, events, influencer moments.
- Pitch ideas for trends, hooks, concepts, memes, and founder content.
- Be a beauty obsessive who is always one step ahead of what's trending.
Ideal Candidate
- 2+ years experience in content creation, social media or creative roles (beauty, fashion, lifestyle or media industries preferred).
- Strong photography and video editing skills.
- Creative, highly aesthetic, and deeply familiar with beauty content trends.
- Proficient in Canva, CapCut, or and/or similar tools.
- Experience managing asset libraries and creative workflows.
- Great taste. You know how to make content look clean, elevated and on-brand.
- Bonus: If you're a makeup enthusiast with great makeup/beauty skills.
