Employment Consultant / Employment Coordinator – Flourish Australia
We are looking for Employment Coordinators to help establish and grow new Inclusive Employment Australia services across NSW, Queensland and the Sydney region. The role is full‑time (76 hours fortnight), based in Harris Park, Level 4 on the Enterprise Agreement (2018) with a base salary of $88,000‑$94,700 p.a. + super + tax‑free salary packaging.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Understand and apply Flourish Australia IEA operational guidelines, ensuring all policies and procedures are followed.
- Engage local businesses and employers to source and create job vacancies for participants.
- Provide support, mentoring and assistance to participants, ensuring placement sustainability and tracking all placements.
- Work with local site teams and community connections to help participants overcome vocational and non‑vocational barriers to employment.
- Support all referred participants to achieve employment outcomes aligned with their goals and skills.
Qualifications & Experience
- Demonstrated experience working in employment services or similar programs.
- Evidence of high placement and retention rates.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Passion for workforce development and helping others succeed.
- Experience in disability services, Inclusive Employment Australia or similar programs is preferred.
- Formal qualifications in training and assessment, employment services, mental health, community services or related fields (or transferable experience).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and client information management systems.
- Proof of high performance in job services or customer services environments.
