Matchworks are on the lookout for a supportive and outgoing Employment Consultant and an In Work Mentor to help people find meaningful work, build confidence, and thrive in their careers.

What you’ll do

As an Employment Consultant or In Work Mentor in our team, you’ll:

- Get to know job seekers’ strengths, skills and goals — then match them with the right opportunities.

- Support and coach people to prepare for and sustain employment.

- Link job seekers with training, support services, and community connections to set them up for long-term success.

- Build strong employer and community networks to open more doors for the people you support.

What you’ll bring

- Great communication skills and the ability to build trust and lasting relationships.

- Strong organisation and multitasking — you’re someone who keeps things on track.

- A team-first attitude and the ability to work collaboratively with employers, colleagues and community partners.

(You’ll also need a Working with Children Check and National Police Check — we’ll guide you through the process if you don’t have them yet.)

- Experience in customer service, recruitment, employment services, retail or hospitality.

- Confidence using Microsoft Office and case management systems.
