Job Description

- Manage the end-to-end record-to-report process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations and adjustments.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to address queries and provide financial insights.
- Implement and maintain internal controls to ensure data integrity and regulatory compliance.
- Assist in audits by preparing relevant documentation and liaising with auditors.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency in the R2R function.
- Provide guidance and support to junior team members within the accounting and finance department.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Accounting Specialist should have:

- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CA or CPA qualification (or working towards certification).
- Proven experience in record-to-report processes within the accounting and finance field.
- Strong understanding of Australian accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication skills to liaise with stakeholders across all levels.
